What the critics say...

Excepts from emails we received while flying from California to Washington DC, south through the Carlolinas and then back to California.  These friends and family members emailed us while we were traveling - as we posted pictures and stories to the DC Travel site several times per week from our hotels.  We were very pleased that they in turn referred our site to their friends and family.

FRIENDS

Jonathan, the original blogger: "Truly awesome. I read the whole thing and passed it on to family."

Stuart, the one and only s'marks: "Hey Heather! Thanks for the update. Nice photos and commentary. Makes me want to visit Washington again. Tell Bruce I think you're right -- the F-86 does have a cute nose!"  (See DAY 3 for details)

Henning, pilot: "very very cool trip... I've always wanted to do one of these.. for now I have to say 'one of these days...' and then live through your pictures and tales! (so keep them coming... :-)"

Lori, co-owner of the plane: "Very cool! I love your photos. Have a wonderful trip."

Kevin, native Texan (or Martian? ;-): "Very nice! Thanks for sharing."

FAMILY

Bruce Sr., father of the pilot: "Wonderful! Keep the news & pictures coming!"

Cynthia, mother of the blogger: "You are doing a smash up job on your fabulously descriptive writing and wonderful photos. I can work a lot into my imagination from you."

Connie, mother of the pilot: "Great site. Keep it up. We all really enjoyed the first 2 days."

Jason, pilot in training and cousin to the blogger: "Thanks Heather. That was neat! I can't imagine doing some of the stuff you described like spiraling through a hole in the clouds to get under the cloud cover. In time, I guess."

Barbara, aunt of the pilot: "Cool pictures! Great diary....sort of a Travels With Charley, 21st century style. Be careful."
