NOTES

I spent my time in San Martin with one group of cowboys.  They had traveled six days on their horses to have their horses blessed in San Martin.  They had started their day at 2:00am and had already had their horses blessed before I arrived at sun rise.  Groups of pilgrims and riders on horses were still arriving.  The horses were amazingly well broke and well behaved.  The one horse I found acting up (fourth image) had been separated from the group and his handler was treating the horse really well.  The riders were well dressed with traditional ponchos over their clothes.  The horses were well groomed and outfitted with fancy tack.  This group had a trailer following them on their journey with food for the horses.  In the second image, a man is doing tricks with a lasso to keep himself occupied.  His friends have seen this all before and do not pay much attention to his tricks.
